Each year, Arby's restaurants across the U.S. participate in our National Community Fundraiser. In 2011, our "Share your Good Mood" fundraiser benefited our new charity partner, Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign. For six weeks, our team members sold $1 pin-ups to help raise funds and awareness to end childhood hunger in America.

After pledging to contribute $1 million dollars to No Kid Hungry in October, we were excited to learn that our customers donated over $1.8 million dollars by the end of December. 100% of these donations were given directly to the No Kid Hungry Campaign. In addition, the Arby's Foundation donated $300,000 dollars, making our total contribution to the No Kid Hungry Campaign more than $2 million dollars.

We are proud of our franchisees, employees, and customers across the nation that helped us double our pledge and brought us one step closer to ending childhood hunger in America.

Arby's Foundation No Kid Hungry Week Recap

To celebrate the launch of our No Kid Hungry partnership, the Arby's Foundation and Arby's Support Center employees kicked off the holiday season with a week of volunteering. Our Crew prepared over 3,316 meals at a feeding site; held a Thanksgiving food drive for a local elementary school and collected over 700 pounds of food packed in 55 reusable grocery bags; and helped bag hunger by holding a rally and providing free Arby's lunches in return for a donation to No Kid Hungry.
